Job summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. seeks a Staff Product Manager to lead the Level 4 autonomous trucking platform across customer applications. This is a senior individual contributor role with organization-wide influence, shaping product strategy, customer deployment, and scaled commercialization.

You will unify Engineering, PM, Operations, and Commercial around a shared vision, own the lifecycle end-to-end, and mentor other PMs while engaging with leadership and customers. Travel 10–20% for deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Product Management experience driving strategy independently across technical domains.
• Demonstrated influence at VP level and above; strong judgment and communication.
• Technical fluency to engage with engineering on architecture and feasibility.
• Ability to operate in novel problem spaces with ambiguity and scale.
• Customer and commercial acumen with external relationships and fleet economics.
• Cross-functional leadership without direct authority; drive alignment.
• Clear executive-level storytelling under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Define the multi-year product roadmap grounded in customer needs and market dynamics.
• Unify Engineering, PM, Operations, and Commercial around a shared vision.
• Own the product lifecycle from opportunity through deployment and iteration.
• Set prioritization frameworks and influence engineering roadmaps and resources.
• Write product requirements with Design and Engineering to ensure long-term fit.
• Define metrics and readiness criteria for deployment and product health.
• Manage senior customer relationships and translate feedback into direction.
• Mentor senior PMs and shape product management practices.
• Travel 10-20% to deployments and customer sites.
