Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager for Adversarial Actors to own the end-to-end strategy for inauthentic behavior on Pinterest, including bots, account takeovers, and spam. You will partner with Policy, Operations, MLE, Integrity Analytics, Data Science, Security, and Identity to protect Pinners and advertisers.

Define the post-authentication roadmap, set detection and enforcement metrics, and anticipate evolving abuse.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management in trust, safety, or anti-abuse.
• Proven track record shipping ML-powered detection at scale.
• Strong data fluency with precision/recall and prevalence.
• SQL proficiency for self-serve analysis.
• Systems thinking for complex detection/enforcement infra.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership and executive communication.
• Ability to balance policy/enforcement with user impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication of ML/policy concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• Experience with enforcement tooling and signals.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver company-wide adversarial strategy across pre- and post-authentication surfaces.
• Develop and execute on the post-authentication roadmap; support pre-auth roadmap.
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering to build spam/account signals and ML models.
• Collaborate with Enforcement Systems to create enforcement actions (warnings, rate limits, deactivations).
• Set metrics for post-authentication spam prevalence and enforcement effectiveness.
• Anticipate emerging adversarial patterns and reprioritize investments.
