Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager for Adversarial Actors to own end-to-end strategy for inauthentic behavior, including bots, account takeovers, and spam across the Pinterest funnel. You will collaborate with Policy, Operations, Engineering, and Data Science to protect Pinners and advertisers.

The role requires deep expertise in trust & safety, ML-powered detection, and cross-functional leadership, with at least 10 years of PM experience and a Bachelor's in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management with trust & safety, account integrity, anti-abuse, or adversarial domains.
• Proven ML-powered detection product ownership and scalable enforcement systems.
• Strong data fluency with precision/recall metrics and adversarial dynamics.
• SQL proficiency enabling self-serve data analysis.
• Demonstrated systems thinking across detection and enforcement infrastructure.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills.
• Strong judgment on policy/enforcement tradeoffs and minimizing false positives.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver Pinterest's adversarial strategy across pre- and post-authentication surfaces with long-term vision and cross-functional alignment.
• Develop and execute the post-authentication roadmap with measurement, signals, and enforcement actions.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to build spam account and domain signals and ML models.
• Work with Enforcement Systems to craft warnings, rate limits, and domain-level actions.
• Set metrics for post-authentication spam prevalence, detection quality, and enforcement effectiveness.
• Anticipate evolving adversarial patterns and reprioritize investments to stay ahead.
