Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Deceptive Content to own the strategy for reducing user victimization from scams, fake storefronts, AI-generated “slop” merchant clusters, and misleading commerce content.

You’ll partner with Policy, Operations, Engineering, Data Science, Monetization, and the Adversarial/Spam team to keep Pinners safe as they move from inspiration to action, define the roadmap, and measure deception prevalence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with trust & safety or adversarial domain experience.
• Proven track record shipping ML-powered detection and scalable enforcement.
• Strong data fluency with precision/recall and adversarial dynamics.
• SQL proficiency for data investigation and analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver strategy and roadmap for deception defense across organic commerce.
• Set metrics for deceptive-content prevalence, exposure window, and enforcement quality.
• Partner with Enforcement Systems and Adversarial/Spam teams on signals and actions.
• Define boundaries with neighboring teams (Creator, Spam, Security/ATO, Text Safety, Monetization).
• Anticipate emerging deception patterns, including AI-generated abuse, and reprioritize investments.
