Job summary

Ladders is recruiting a Senior Staff Platform Engineer to shape the infrastructure foundation and boost engineering productivity, reliability, and scalable delivery across the organization.

You will own Azure-based cloud platform capabilities with a focus on automation and observability, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows, data pipelines, and system performance at scale. This remote role offers a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code, particularly Terraform; Azure experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with observability systems including monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing.
• Strong SRE instincts focusing on SLOs, capacity planning, and incident response.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Staff Platform Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will shape the infrastructure foundation that supports engineering productivity, reliability, and scalable delivery across the organization.

You will own critical cloud platform capabilities, with a strong emphasis on automation, observability, and resilient operations in a modern Azure-based environment.

The position also partners closely with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows, support data pipeline orchestration, and strengthen system performance at scale.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually
