Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to advance a cloud-native platform, focusing on reliability, scalability, and security across Kubernetes, GitOps, and IaC. You will partner with application teams to onboard services and streamline deployment.

Responsibilities include operating production Kubernetes clusters, extending GitOps workflows, and crafting Terraform modules for cloud infra, while improving platform health, security, and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production; EKS, GKE, or AKS preferred.
• Experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps tools.
• Proficient in Terraform for cloud infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals such as DNS and load balancing.

For our client, we are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will help shape the reliability, scalability, and security of the organization's cloud-native platform supporting modern software delivery. You will own key infrastructure capabilities across Kubernetes, GitOps, and infrastructure as code, partnering closely with application teams to enable smooth service onboarding and deployment. The work will directly improve platform health, operational efficiency, and the end-to-end delivery experience for engineering teams. Location: Remote

Compensation: $126,000 – $213,000 annually
