Polaris Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer on the Advanced Technology & Innovation Team to imagine, develop, and bring to life new vehicle concepts and user experiences that shape the future of Polaris.

You will collaborate with Design, User Experience, Product Planning, and Engineering to transform insights into prototypes and innovation strategies, balancing desirability, feasibility, and business viability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering design or related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling tools and fabrication is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and refinement of innovative vehicle and customer experience concepts.
• Translate insights into engineering concepts and prototypes.
• Design and build concept vehicles, functional prototypes, and proof-of-concept models.
• Collaborate with design, UX, product planning, and strategy teams.
• Drive innovation projects from ideation through development and reviews.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for value creation.
• Lead rapid prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
• Present concepts and recommendations to leadership teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess feasibility and risks.
• Build relationships with external partners and suppliers.
