Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking an experienced Advanced Technology & Innovation Engineer to imagine and develop new vehicle concepts and user experiences.

You will work with design, engineering, and strategy teams to transform insights into tangible prototypes and innovation strategies that shape future Polaris products. The role requires a mechanical engineering background with strong creativity, feasibility assessment, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field required.
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering design or related roles preferred.
• Experience with calibration and software preferred.
• Agriculture, Transportation, powersports, or automotive design experience desirable.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling tools such as Creo, Blender, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, development, and refinement of innovative vehicle concepts and customer experiences for Polaris products.
• Translate insights and trends into engineering concepts and prototype solutions.
• Design, engineer, and build concept vehicles, functional prototypes, and proof‑of‑concept models.
• Collaborate with design, UX, planning, and strategy teams to balance desirability, feasibility, and viability.
• Lead rapid prototyping, testing, and validation activities to inform product direction.
• Present concepts and strategic opportunities to leadership teams.
