Job summary

ZT Systems is hiring a Senior Staff MFG Test Software Developer in Secaucus, NJ. You will lead test software architecture for manufacturing hardware, create automated test suites, and mentor junior engineers while shaping technical direction.

You will own test systems across servers and rack infrastructure, collaborate with test and manufacturing teams, and drive modern automation and SDLC best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering/CS/IT experience or 5+ with a Master's degree.
• Expert in Python, Linux and Bash scripting.
• Experience with hardware validation, automation and test tools (IPMI, Redfish, FIO, Linpack, mprime, memtester).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking (BGP, DHCP Relay, ECMP).
• Experience with VMware, PXE boot, NGINX and SDN tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and installation of advanced test software and systems.
• Architect test plans, cases, and scripts for hardware validation.
• Develop and maintain test software automating hardware testing processes.
• Sustain infrastructure for manufacturing test servers and racks.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical vision across the team.
