Job summary

Amprius Technologies in Fremont, CA, is hiring hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineers (Senior or Staff) to own the process parameters, yield, and throughput for cell-assembly stations on the pilot line as we ramp to full production. You will develop recipes, control plans, and SOPs while leading structured experiments.

You will mentor technicians, partner with equipment vendors, and drive continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma methods.

Qualifications

• End-to-end ownership of cell-assembly process improvements.
• Experience with DOE, PFMEA, SPC and Gage R&R.
• Hands-on with equipment such as notching, winding, tab welding, pouch forming.

Responsibilities

• Own process parameters for cell-assembly stations and define control plans.
• Design and run DOE to optimize yield and cycle time.
• Lead 8D, 5-Why, and fishbone root-cause investigations.
• Improve throughput by reducing bottlenecks and balancing lines.
• Write SOPs and train technicians.
• Support daily production and respond to escalations.
