Job summary

Amprius Technologies, Inc. in Fremont, CA, is seeking hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineers at Senior or Staff level to own cell-assembly processes. You will develop recipes, define process windows, and maintain control plans while driving yield and cycle-time improvements on a pilot-to-production line.

You will perform structured experiments (DOE), lead root-cause investigations, and mentor technicians on SOPs and data-driven improvements, with on-site work in a dry-room environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Senior: 5+ years; Staff: 8+ years in process/manufacturing engineering in Li-ion cell production.
• Hands-on ownership of cell-assembly processes and equipment.
• Proficiency with DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and Gage R&R.
• Ability to write SOPs and present data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own process parameters for cell-assembly stations and maintain specs and control plans.
• Design and run DOE to optimize yield, cycle time, and performance.
• Lead root-cause analysis, 8D, 5-Why, and preventive actions.
• Measure OEE, identify bottlenecks, and drive throughput improvements.
• Develop SOPs, operator training, and support daily production.
