Job summary

EnPower Inc. d/b/a CAMINUS. in Indianapolis is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development and equipment launches for lithium-ion cell manufacturing, collaborating with Product Engineers and Technicians to build robust production methods and qualification plans.

You will document processes, train technicians, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance to scale high-performance cell production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 10+ years in fast-paced manufacturing, preferably battery manufacturing.
• Experience writing process documentation (work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required physical tasks.
• Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, write equipment specifications, and launch equipment through FAT/SAT.
• Plan and install new manufacturing equipment and qualification processes.
• Analyze processes and map material/flow for efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
• Provide data to demonstrate manufacturability of new equipment.
• Inform and train technicians on new processes.
• Provide feedback to design engineering on manufacturability (DFM/DFA) of products.
