Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior or staff-level role.
• Expertise in designing and building full stack applications.
• Strong programming skills in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience leading engineering initiatives and mentoring other engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of complex systems and services to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design) to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior engineers, helping to level up the team’s skill set.
• Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability for long-term sustainability.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Influence the engineering roadmap by identifying gaps and scaling challenges.
• Research and evaluate new tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Act as a technical expert, guiding troubleshooting and debugging in production.
• Participate in recruitment, interviews, and onboarding to grow the team.
