Job summary

SiMa.ai, Inc. is seeking a Sr Staff Engineer, Factory Board Test in San Jose, CA to define and drive the board-level test strategy for the MLSoC platform.

You will architect end-to-end test solutions, including DfT, ICT, and functional testing across multiple CM sites. The role requires deep experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB, Ethernet, MIPI), fixture design, and test software development in Python/C++.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 12+ years hardware engineering experience.
• 7+ years dedicated to PCB board test development and architecture.
• Hands-on ICT, flying-probe, and functional board test experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the full board test strategy for complex, high-speed PCBAs, including ICT, flying-probe, and functional test methods.
• Collaborate early with PCB layout and hardware design teams to embed testability features.
• Architect and maintain functional test sequences with bench instruments or fixtures; validate PDN and high-speed interfaces.
