Recovery.com’s Madison, WI team seeks a senior technical leader who will ship production code while setting architectural direction for a fast-moving engineering group. You will influence engineering strategy across the org, mentor engineers, and drive major initiatives leveraging AI and modern cloud technologies.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering experience with production apps.
Deep expertise in full-stack TypeScript development (React/Next.js and Node.js).
Experience designing and owning production system architecture (APIs, data modeling, scalability).
Experience with relational databases and cloud infrastructure; influence across teams.

Responsibilities

AI tooling identification and implementation across the SDLC to improve quality and speed.
Design, build, test, and ship production-ready full-stack features across React/Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and related tech.
Own and evolve system architecture across domains and establish API/data/infrastructure standards.
