General Responsibilities:

Provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This includes performing and leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, design and development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and report writing. Review drawings and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and track project progress and budgets. Research and resolve design and construction issues. Manage laboratory or field data for reports. Communicate complex engineering issues effectively to clients and project teams. Services may span sectors such as public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning; report safety concerns.
2. Implement quality leadership practices daily.
3. Maintain consistent quality standards in proposals and project delivery.
4. Manage and execute small to medium projects, and some complex projects.
5. Develop scope of work for routine projects.
6. Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and related documents.
7. Analyze data and perform engineering calculations.
8. Coordinate field investigations, laboratory testing, and data evaluation.
9. Develop project plans, schedules, and conduct project phases.
10. Work closely with senior project managers for experience growth.
11. Make design recommendations and modifications.
12. Prepare work scope, proposals, reports, and plan investigations for approval.
13. Serve as a technical adviser to junior team members.
14. Supervise field staff and support personnel.
15. Engage with clients and project teams on scope and progress.
16. Work under supervision of a Professional Engineer and authorized reviewer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience minimum.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable record.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) required; ability to obtain PE registration.

Preferred Certification:

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
