  • Architect and implement mission-critical distributed storage components, including:
  • Global file system namespace management
  • High availability services integration
  • S3 protocol implementation
  • Access control systems
  • Data protection features (erasure coding, backup/recovery)
  • Storage efficiency features (snapshots, deduplication)
  • Lead technical design discussions and prototype development
  • Drive product delivery while maintaining high quality standards
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and optimize solutions for scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Mentor and collaborate with team members in an outcome-oriented environment

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development with file systems, concurrency, multithreading, server architectures, and distributed systems.
  • Excellent hands-on software development experience (5+ years) on scale-out and high availability storage solutions.
  • Experience in developing and debugging at system level C/C++, particularly for Linux/UNIX computing environments.
  • Knowledge of parallel file system solutions (Lustre, GPFS), NVM storage technology, or distributed key-value storage systems are highly appreciated.
  • BS/MS/Ph.D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent degree/experience.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high quality deliverables.

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to independently prioritize, multitask, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of and experience in several of the following subjects:

  • Extensive experience with parallel or distributed file systems (e.g., Lustre, GPFS, NFS, SMB)
  • Deep understanding of HPC networks, focusing on low-latency and high-bandwidth solutions

This position requires participation in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.

Join our dynamic and driven team, where engineering excellence is at the heart of everything we do. We seek individuals who love to challenge themselves and are fueled by curiosity. Here, you'll have the opportunity to work across various areas of the company, thanks to our flat organizational structure that encourages hands-on involvement and direct contributions to our mission. Leadership is earned by those who take initiative and consistently deliver outstanding results, both in their work ethic and deliverables, making strong prioritization skills essential. Additionally, we value strong communication skills in all our engineers and researchers, as they are crucial for the success of our teams and the company as a whole.

Interview Process: After submitting your application, one of our recruiters will review your resume. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 30-minute interview during which a member of our team will ask some basic questions. If you clear the interview, you will enter the main process, which can consist of up to four interviews in total:

  • Coding assessment: Often in a language of your choice.
  • Systems design: Translate high-level requirements into a scalable, fault-tolerant service (depending on role).
