Job summary

Red Cell Partners, in collaboration with Trase Systems, seeks a Senior/Staff DevOps Engineer to build, deploy, and operate production infrastructure supporting federal and portfolio programs. The role emphasizes Kubernetes, secure releases, and scalable automation across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will collaborate with platform engineers, TPM, GRC, and partners to turn requirements into validated deployments, drive reliability, and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Citizenship in the United States is required.
• 10+ years in software/platform/SRE/DevOps with production ownership.
• Deep hands-on Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and production cluster ops.
• Helm and IaC (Terraform or Pulumi) with reusable modules and state management.
• Experience with at least two of AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience deploying to private-cloud/hybrid/on-prem environments.
• Strong networking, DNS, ingress, IAM, secrets management, storage, and service security.
• CI/CD or GitOps plus observability and incident response for production.
• Software engineering in Python, Go, or TypeScript across apps and infra.
• Security hardening, vulnerability remediation with security teams.
• Strong partner-facing communication and troubleshooting ownership.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding/engineering tools to accelerate work.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate partner environments across cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Package and validate Trase OS services using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm; maintain image inventories and release manifests.
• Create IaC modules and CI/CD/GitOps workflows with Terraform, Pulumi, and Argo CD.
• Validate networking, IAM, secrets, storage, and model-provider connectivity; support restricted-network deployments.
• Lead triage and resolution of production issues across Kubernetes, cloud infra, and networks.
• Deliver tested releases with automated validation gates and clear release notes.
