Job summary

Lendistry is seeking a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer to serve as a senior technical leader on the Platform Engineering & Operations team, driving cloud architecture, security posture, and developer experience in a regulated financial services environment.

You will mentor engineers, shape infrastructure strategy, and own CI/CD pipelines while advancing AI-driven observability and platform tooling across multiple cloud accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience engineering highly available, enterprise-grade software and platform applications.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in platform engineering across various cloud computing models.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, Docker, and cloud-native applications.
• Substantial hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Hands-on coding in at least two languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or .NET/C#).
• Experience with cloud-native patterns, microservices, and migrations to cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, virtualization, containers, networking, storage, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible).
• Experience with developer tools and open-source technologies.
• Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps concepts and AI-driven workloads.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical leader and hands-on IC for Platform Engineering & Operations.
• Mentor cloud and platform engineers and raise the technical bar.
• Shape the technical strategy and roadmap for infrastructure and platform engineering.
• Drive cloud architecture and account strategy across development, staging, and production environments.
• Own CI/CD pipelines across multiple repositories from build to production deployments.
• Lead AI/ML tooling adoption and AI-driven observability and operations practices.
