Job summary

Code and Theory is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure, tooling, and developer experience powering AI-native digital platforms. You’ll work across cloud, CI/CD, security, and observability, partnering with cross functional teams to ship faster and build more reliably.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience provisioning and managing cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong IaC proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Deep Docker and Kubernetes expertise; high-availability architectures.
• Knowledge of security best practices and DevSecOps.
• Experience with observability and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure with high availability and operational excellence.
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe software delivery from commit to production.
• Embed DevSecOps principles across the pipeline: security scanning, secrets management, and compliance by default.
• Lead IaC practices with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible; keep environments reproducible.
• Own observability: monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing across all systems.
• Drive cloud cost optimization and right-size resources proactively.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve developer experience and remove SDLC friction.
• Maintain architecture documentation, runbooks, and post-mortems for continuous improvement.
