Job summary

Lendistry is seeking a Staff Engineer DevOps to join our Platform Engineering & Operations team, contributing as a hands-on individual‑contributor. You’ll build and sustain the infrastructure for a regulated lending platform, focusing on cloud architecture, security posture, and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years building enterprise-grade software and platforms.
• 2+ years platform engineering with cloud models.
• 2+ years Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native apps.
• Hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience in Java/JavaScript/Python/Go/.NET/C#.
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD, monitoring, and security tooling.
• Familiarity with ML/AI tooling and policy-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on Platform Engineering roadmap; mentor juniors.
• Maintain cloud infra, IaC, and GitOps across environments.
• Manage container orchestration and cloud accounts.
• Support identity, security posture, secrets, and KMS practices.
• Help audits and vendor security assessments for regulated platform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling.
• Participate in on-call and incident response.
• Explore AI-assisted tooling and observability enhancements.
• Support AI/ML features: model serving, inference, scaling.
