Job summary

MaxLinear in Irvine seeks a Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead the full lifecycle of engineering R&D programs, coordinating planning, tracking and execution with cross-functional leads and senior management.

You will develop staffing plans and schedules across RF/AMS, DSP, SoC, software, and system teams, establish the Plan of Record and success metrics, and drive process improvements while managing risks to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge across RF/AMS, DSP, SoC, systems, software and integration.
• Hands-on program or project management experience on chip/product cycles.
• Understanding of engineering workflows, validation methodologies, and lab validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, tracking, and execution of R&D programs with cross-functional teams.
• Develop staffing plans and detailed schedules for multiple disciplines.
• Set Plan of Record and success metrics; monitor continuously.
• Manage execution to meet quality, timeline, and cost targets; mitigate risks.
• Report status, issues, and actions to management; drive improvements.
• Ensure lifecycle compliance with development processes and lessons learned.
• Manage stakeholder, supplier, and customer relationships for optimal outcomes.
