Nubank is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to shape the DevEx program across the SDLC, driving AI-native tooling and scalable quality standards for a massive developer community.

You will own end-to-end developer experience, from internal platform tools to automated reviews, partnering with leaders to raise velocity while preserving reliability, with a hybrid work setup and two days onsite weekly.

Qualifications

• Senior-level backend engineering leadership with scale experience.
• Deep knowledge of developer platforms, SDLC, and CI/CD systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development and tooling.
• Proven ability to drive strategy and technical decisions independently.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-performance tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect E2E Quality & DevEx Platforms and multi-year vision.
• Lead AI-driven code review evolution with integrated tools.
• Define Human-in-the-Loop boundaries for automated approvals.
• Partner with engineers and product managers to raise technical bar.
• Balance speed with system integrity and observability.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions for developer tooling.
