Job summary

SiriusXM is seeking a Senior Staff Data Engineer to join the AdsWizz data products team. You will architect, build, and maintain high-performance reporting APIs and scalable data pipelines that power analytics across advertising and measurement platforms.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams, product, and operations to ensure reliable pipelines, scalable services, and timely insights. This role requires leadership, deep expertise in Spark/BigQuery, and strong cloud experience in

Qualifications

12+ years of software engineering experience in Python or Java
7+ years building data pipelines with Spark, BigQuery, AWS EMR, and GCP
7+ years crafting REST APIs and microservices across cloud platforms
Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) and observability tools

Responsibilities

Design and build high-performance reporting APIs and data pipelines
Lead architecture discussions with ad measurement, revenue, and addressability data
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements
Mentor junior engineers and drive project execution
Ensure production deployments with operations teams and incident management
