Job summary

Danaher is seeking a Senior Staff Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technology, focusing on Analytics, Data Science and BI. This role supports multiple operating companies and reports to the Senior Director Data Engineering; it is fully remote in the US or on-site in Krakow, Poland.

The position requires 5-7 years of BA experience in BI/data analytics, strong SQL and data modeling skills, Snowflake and Power BI expertise, and 3+ years of Agile experience.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience in BI, data analytics, data science, or data engineering environments.
• Proficiency in data analysis, requirements elicitation, process modeling, and SQL; hands-on Snowflake and Power BI usage.
• Experience with dashboards and data preparation.
• 3+ years of Agile teams working in sprints.
• Willingness to travel to Washington DC and global Danaher sites up to 10%.
• Data Governance tooling experience is a plus.

Senior Staff Business Analyst

The Senior Staff Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into technical specifications. Focusing on Analytic, Data Science and Business Intelligence. You will have the opportunity to work all business functions and with our Data & Analytics experts across the world and multiple operating companies. This position reports to the Senior Director Data Engineering and is part of the Data Engineering Team and will be fully remote in US or on‑site in Krakow, Poland.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage continuously with stakeholders to understand their business goals and collect requirements
• Translate these business requirements into user stories and comprehensive functional specifications for data integrations, data modelling, dashboards, reports for development team
• Prioritize these user stories into the right sequence of projects and releases for the team to implement
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver efficient and effective solutions
• Engage with Data and Analytics user community to support solution adoption

Essential Requirements

• 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Data Engineering environments.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, requirements elicitation, process modeling, and SQL, with hands‑on experience leveraging Snowflake and Power BI to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience working with Dashboards or Data Preparation.
• 3 years of experience working in Agile teams that work in sprints.
• Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role.
• Ability to travel to Washington DC and global Danaher sites, up to 10%.
• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Data Governance Reporting Tools.

The annual salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
