Job summary

The company is seeking an exceptional backend software engineer to define and ship enterprise capabilities for its API platform. You will work on authentication, identity, service accounts, key controls, and secure networking, while leading cross-functional initiatives with Product, GTM, Security, and Infrastructure teams.

You will design developer-facing APIs and ensure reliable, observable platforms with strong operational ownership.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional backend or platform engineering experience.
• Strong track record shipping API or platform capabilities used by developers.
• Experience leading large cross-functional initiatives and influencing product direction.

Responsibilities

• Own backend product capabilities end to end across authentication, identity, and security controls.
• Partner with Product, GTM, Security, and Infrastructure to shape roadmaps and lead cross-functional projects.
• Design developer-facing APIs and system behavior with reliable defaults, auditing, and notifications.
• Build, operate, and debug highly reliable backend systems across databases, streaming, and distributed services.
