Job summary

Netris is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, own, and build the distributed control-plane services behind our platform. You will translate high-level infrastructure requirements into scalable, production-grade designs and implementations, taking ownership across architecture, implementation, reliability, and observability.

You’ll work on APIs, internal services, and distributed components using Node.js, Golang, and modern databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js and Golang.
• Experience with MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, gRPC, Linux, and containers.
• Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into technical designs and production-ready implementations.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of scalable backend services powering network automation workflows.
• Drive architectural decisions across APIs, internal services, and distributed control-plane components.
• Build REST APIs using Node.js and gRPC services using Golang.
• Improve system scalability, observability, resiliency, and operational reliability.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, networking, and product teams.
• Drive engineering best practices around reliability, testing, and CI/CD.
