Job summary

We Are CASA seeks a Senior Staff Attorney to defend and advocate for members across civil cases in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The role supports paralegals, organizers, and social services staff while expanding access to justice for immigrant and working-class communities.

The position can be based at multiple centers in Hyattsville, Baltimore, Rockville, or Woodbridge, offering a path to durable community legal work and impact litigation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish, strongly preferred. French is a plus.
• Strong professional client management skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide civil legal representation for CASA members under supervision.
• Mentor staff attorneys, paralegals, and volunteers in handling complex cases.
• Provide brief legal services: orientation, intake, counseling, referrals.
• Lead and participate in workshops and clinics organized by Legal Department.
