We Are CASA is seeking a Senior Staff Attorney to defend and advocate for members across civil matters. The role collaborates with paralegals, organizers and social service staff in a fast-paced setting, focusing on high impact legal work and community engagement.

The position supports legal needs for organizing campaigns, coalition work, and public education, with multiple office locations including Hyattsville, Baltimore, Rockville and Woodbridge.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; French is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience delivering civil legal services or related advocacy.
• Strong client management and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Direct legal work: supervise and provide representation to We Are CASA members.
• Mentor staff and volunteers in handling complex cases.
• Provide brief legal services, intake, education, and referrals.
• Lead community workshops and clinics.

Connaissances

Bilingual English/Spanish

Admitted to practice law or eligible
