Job summary

Twin Health is hiring a Staff AI Engineer to shape the technical direction of our AI-driven product. You will lead the Core AI team, setting standards for multi-product AI systems, and mentor engineers while solving complex, system-level challenges.

You will build scalable AI/ML capabilities, from conversational agents to personalization systems, and collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to turn ambitious goals into concrete designs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience building AI/ML systems in production.
• Experience setting technical direction and engineering standards across orgs.
• Proven track record with LLM-based systems, Generative AI, and Prompt Engineering.
• Mentoring senior engineers and influencing decisions beyond own project.
• Experience with Voice AI or multimodal models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core AI architecture spanning multiple product areas.
• Set technical bar for evaluation, testing, and CI/CD for model behavior.
• Identify and resolve systemic engineering gaps proactively.
• Own hardest, most ambiguous technical problems end-to-end.
• Build and ship conversational agents, deep learning models, and personalization systems.
• Improve AI/ML systems to drive behavior change and health improvements.
• Raise technical level through code review and design review (IC leadership).
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to turn goals into designs.
