Asana is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the Developer Productivity group and drive AI-enabled tooling impacting 500+ developers. You will define technical vision with the DP Group Tech Lead for 6+ engineering teams and shape the roadmap for Asana’s development platform to speed up the software lifecycle.

The role offers an office-centric hybrid schedule with in-office days and WFH options. Base salary ranges around $323k–$336k, plus equity and benefits for a global workforce.

Qualifications

10+ years in technical roles on large-scale products.
2+ years owning build systems, dev environments, CI for 200+ engineers.

Responsibilities

Drive developer productivity and AI tooling projects impacting 500+ developers at Asana.
Partner with DP Group Tech Lead to define technical vision for 6+ engineering teams.
Build and align the roadmap for Asana’s development platform to accelerate feedback loops.
