Job summary

Aqua Finance is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant, Structured Finance to manage complex accounting activities, including securitizations and loan sales. You will evaluate GAAP standards, prepare financial reporting, and support internal controls in a cross-functional setting across the U.S.

The role emphasizes technical accounting, analytical problem solving, and collaboration with Operations, Treasury, and Finance to ensure timely reporting and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience or 3 years of public accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting activities for new securitizations, loan sales, and lines of credit.
• Prepare, review, and complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Coordinate and respond to external audits and regulatory requests.
• Analyze large financial datasets to identify discrepancies and trends.
