Job summary

Aqua Finance, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant – Dealer Receivables to ensure accurate accounting, reporting, and oversight of dealer receivables and settlement activity. The role focuses on premium recapture and ancillary products, with an emphasis on controls, automation, and scalable processes.

The candidate will monitor dealer balances, reconcile accounts, support cross-functional initiatives, and ensure compliance with state regulations while delivering timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or commensurate work experience.
• CPA certification preferred/required.
• 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting/internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dealer-related receivable balances and settlement activity.
• Design and implement financial controls for premium recapture and ancillary products.
• Monitor and reconcile dealer receivable accounts for accurate reporting.
• Partner with sales to update recapture terms and reporting logic.
• Serve as accounting contact for cross-functional initiatives impacting invoicing, payments and dealer transactions.
• Ensure refunds for ancillary products comply with state regulations.
• Research discrepancies and resolve dealer payment complaints.
• Translate changes into accounting requirements and assess downstream impact.
• Escalate cross-functional risks with recommended solutions.
• Evaluate new accounting processes and conduct accounting research.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
