Job summary

A growing technology staffing firm is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations. This role includes overseeing payroll, handling invoicing, and ensuring multi-state compliance. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience and a strong knowledge of ADP, QuickBooks, and payroll compliance. The firm offers a competitive salary range of $65,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year, alongside benefits including medical and vision insurance, a 401(k), and paid maternity leave.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in staffing or professional services.
• Strong working knowledge of payroll, billing, and compliance.
• Solid understanding of multi-state tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage A/P, A/R, payroll, ledger, and month-end close.
• Prepare financial reports and billing analyses.
• Oversee consultant timesheets, invoicing, and payroll.
• Ensure billing accuracy in TrackerRMS and QuickBooks.
• Maintain multi-state payroll and compliance.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and documentation.
• Coordinate with HR on benefits and terminations.
• Improve workflows across ATS and accounting systems.
