Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage A/P, A/R, payroll, ledger, and month-end close.
• Prepare financial reports and billing analyses.
• Oversee consultant timesheets, invoicing, and payroll.
• Ensure billing accuracy in TrackerRMS and QuickBooks.
• Maintain multi-state payroll and compliance.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and documentation.
• Coordinate with HR on benefits and terminations.
• Improve workflows across ATS and accounting systems.

Senior Staff Accountant – Technical Staffing Firm

Oakridge Staffing is a growing technology staffing firm serving financial services, hedge funds, and technology clients nationwide. We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, consultant payroll and invoicing, and multi-state compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, and month‑end close
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and billing analyses
• Oversee consultant timesheets, invoicing, and payroll via ATS and ADP
• Ensure accurate billing and payroll data in TrackerRMS and QuickBooks
• Maintain compliance with multi‑state payroll, unemployment, and workers’ comp
• Support consultant onboarding/offboarding, tax, and insurance documentation
• Coordinate with HR on benefits, terminations, and employment verifications
• Improve and automate workflows across ATS, Bill.com, and accounting systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience; staffing or professional services preferred
• Strong working knowledge of ADP, QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Excel
• Solid understanding of multi‑state payroll and tax compliance
