Job summary

Rock Oak Capital Partners seeks a hands-on Senior Staff Accountant to support general ledger, month-end close, treasury operations, and tax preparation across its diversified portfolio of operating companies and investments.

You will work across multiple entities, maintain audit-ready records, investigate discrepancies and help ensure clean intercompany flows, with a focus on accuracy and timely closes in a dynamic family office environment.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong general ledger accounting and account reconciliation experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting month-end close.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP; NetSuite preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple entities, deadlines and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules across multiple operating companies, holding companies and investment entities.
• Support timely and accurate month-end and year-end close, including fixed assets, accruals, prepaids and intercompany balances.
• Investigate discrepancies and maintain audit-ready financial records.
• Monitor intercompany transactions and assist with intercompany funding and allocations.
• Assist with schedules and documentation for external auditors and tax preparers.
