Job summary

Rock Oak Capital Partners seeks an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations across multiple entities, overseeing close, reporting, treasury, tax coordination and internal controls.

The role blends hands-on diligence with strategic leadership, requiring strong technical accounting, multi-entity experience, NetSuite proficiency and the ability to build processes in a fast-paced family-office environment. Hybrid work with periodic travel to Rockford.

Qualifications

• 7-12+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Experience in Controller/Assistant Controller role or equivalent leadership.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors and CPA firms.
• Strong technical accounting foundation with multi-entity consolidation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close across multi-entity portfolio.
• Oversee entity-level and consolidated financial Reporting and intercompany eliminations.
• Develop and maintain close processes and strong financial reporting disciplines.
• Lead treasury management including cash positioning, intercompany funding and liquidity forecasting.
• Coordinate tax coordination, external audits and compliance.
