Job summary

Express Wash Concepts is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team in Etna, Ohio. The role focuses on month-end close, fixed asset accounting, and utility accruals across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, 3+ years accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. Responsibilities include data analysis, reconciliations, and supporting management with variance explanations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute the monthly close process in accordance with US GAAP and ensure timely financial statements.
• Own fixed asset accounting, subledger reconciliation, depreciation, and asset disposals.
• Prepare monthly utility accruals and analyze usage by location to identify variances.
• Support external audits with documentation and variance explanations; maintain audit-ready records.
• Collaborate with business partners to drive efficiency and provide insightful financial analytics.
