Express Wash Concepts is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Etna, OH. You will lead month-end close, manage fixed assets, and oversee utility accruals across our multi-location car wash network, turning data into actionable insights while ensuring US GAAP compliance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 3+ years of close experience, strong Excel skills, and sharp communication, detail-orientation, and ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 3+ years of related accounting experience including month-end close.
• US GAAP knowledge and strong Excel skills are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute and drive the monthly close process in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate reconciling items.
• Perform variance analysis with clear explanations of fluctuations.
• Own fixed asset accounts; manage depreciation, additions, disposals, and roll-forwards.
• Prepare monthly utility accruals and analyze usage by location to identify anomalies.
• Support internal/external audits with documentation and schedules.
• Collaborate with partners across Finance to drive process efficiency and accuracy.
