Nassau Candy Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team in Hicksville, NY.

This onsite role requires hands-on accounting, strong analytical skills, and inventory accounting expertise in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and supports month-end close, reconciliations, and cost reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong experience with inventory accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and solid GAAP knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close and variances.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and analyze results for accuracy.
• Support inventory accounting, valuations, and cost reporting with Operations.
• Prepare payroll-related entries and assist with tax filings and audits.
• Participate in process improvements and ERP-related projects.
