Job summary

Nassau Candy Distributors, Inc. in Hicksville, NY, is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting, close processes, and ensure GAAP compliance. You will partner with executives to drive financial planning, strengthen controls, and optimize reporting across the organization.

This on-site role requires a strategic leader who can manage a multi-entity environment and develop the team. Ideal candidates bring senior accounting leadership experience, strong NetSuite and Excel reporting skills,

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years in management.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, close processes, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, inventory, revenue recognition.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure timely financial statements.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
Oversee multi-entity reporting and financial consolidations as applicable.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and variances for executives.
