Job summary

Agility Robotics in Fremont, CA seeks an Accountant III to own the general ledger and ensure GAAP compliance. You will drive the close process and collaborate across teams to improve accounting controls.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting (manufacturing preferred), a BS in accounting or finance, and a CPA is preferred. This hybrid position reports to the Senior Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and corporate finance principles.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly/year-end close processes including complex journal entries and accruals.
• Own general ledger accounts and ensure data accuracy.
• Drive process improvements and establish internal controls.
• Support audit activities and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Contribute to finance system initiatives and projects.
