Job summary

Agility Robotics is seeking an Accountant III in Fremont, CA to own the general ledger and drive GAAP-compliant financial processes. The role is hybrid (3+ days on site) and reports to the Senior Accounting Manager.

You’ll lead close, GL ownership, process improvements, and audit support, coordinating across teams to scale accounting operations for a manufacturing environment. Requires 5+ years’ accounting, a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a manufacturing company.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. CPA preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures in compliance with GAAP.
• Analytical skills: ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.
• Expert proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Excel, and strong technology skills (Google Suite, etc.).
• NetSuite experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and year-end financial close processes, including complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts, ensuring data accuracy and resolving errors.
• Lead the creation, documentation, and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Participate heavily in audit documentation and readiness for external reviews.
• Serve as a key stakeholder in financial system initiatives and other financial projects.
