Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in public accounting preferred.
• Additional industry accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Financial statement preparation and account reconciliations experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience using accounting and ERP software platforms.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new financial systems and technologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support financial statement preparation and reporting processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Assist with audits and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information.
• Support accounting system enhancements and future software implementation projects.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
