K-1 Speed Inc. is hiring a Senior Staff Accountant in Irvine, CA to join the Corporate Accounting team. You will own month-end close activities, prepare journal entries, and support financial reporting across multiple entities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• 3+ Years of full general ledger accounting experience.
• Onsite full time (required).

Aufgaben

• Perform month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Take ownership of assigned bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported.
• Prepare prepaid, accrual, and other assigned balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end financial reporting and analysis.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies and unusual transactions.
• Work with other departments to obtain information and ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting.
• Assist with external audit requests and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and assist with implementing changes that increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Participate in special projects, data analysis, and reporting as required by management
