Summit Interconnect in Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Accountant to support month-end and year-end close, prepare reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting across our multi‑entity structure. This position works with the Assistant Controller and Controller on accounting, compliance, and operational finance activities.

This is an in‑office role at our Irvine corporate office near John Wayne Airport, five days per week with light flexibility.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting.
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Experience in manufacturing or multi-entity environments is a plus.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications during monthly close.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support intercompany transactions and elimination entries.
• Assist with fixed asset subledger, additions, disposals, depreciation.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations to management.
• Support audits and revenue recognition reconciliation.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain accounting policies.
• Assist with ERP implementation projects and data migration.
• Support AP/AR reconciliations and month-end close activities.
