Senior/Staff Accountant:

Job Summary -

Vaco has partnered with a Distribution Company and they have an opening for a Senior/Staff Accountant to be the sole accountant on the team, handling daily functions. The candidate must have international client experience and understand sales and corporate tax. The client offers outstanding benefits and work-from-home days.

Duties -

1. Debits and Credits, registration in different states
2. Corporate and business tax in different states, sales tax, closings
3. Monthly and quarterly close
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable Functions
5. Work with external accountant to compile Financial Statements
6. Bank reconciliations
7. Auditing, intercompany accounting, multistate and international experience, reconcile GL accounts - 50.

Essentials -

1. B.S. in Accounting
2. Comfortable with talking to international clients/customers
3. Experience with Corporate and Sales Tax
4. 3-5 years of experience in accounting
5. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a huge plus
6. Experience in an Accounting Software

Hours - 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm
