Job summary

Slide in Tampa, Florida is seeking a skilled accounting professional to support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensure GAAP and NAIC statutory reporting are accurate, and help with regulatory filings for homeowners insurance.

You will prepare and analyze financial statements, evaluate the financial impact of reinsurance transactions, strengthen internal controls, and partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues while advancing key business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in Property & Casualty insurance, preferably homeowners.
• Knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting (NAIC reporting).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively.
