We're looking to hire a Senior Accounting professional who enjoys collaboration with others and variety of technical challenges, in both accounting and financial analysis.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

What you'll do:

1. Communicate with leaders in multiple divisions
2. Report financial findings to leadership
3. Cash flow forecasting
4. Budgeting and forecasting
5. Analyze financial position related to the budget for multiple divisions
6. Create journal entries and reconcile the general ledger
7. Perform variance analysis and explain discrepancies
8. Consolidate general ledger accounts and support ledger integration work when needed
9. Look for opportunities for process improvements within global divisions
10. Month-end close and year-end activity/reporting
11. Prepare financial statements and reports for leadership/management team
12. Support and facilitate audit readiness
13. Support ad hoc projects as needed (up to 25%)

What we need from you:

1. Four or more years experience post graduation in audit or accounting.
2. Previous experience with monthly close, general ledger reconciliation and journal entry creation
3. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related area required
4. Understanding of MS Excel, pivot tables, Lookups, formulas and others
5. The ability to work in a local office in St. Paul (flex scheduling/1 day from home)
