Tri Tool is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in Rancho Cordova, CA, to manage general ledger activities and support the year-end close. You will apply U.S. GAAP, prepare financial statements, and ensure accuracy across reporting packages.
The role requires at least four years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and effective communication. CPA not required; expected to work under supervision in a CPA environment within an engineering manufacturing setting.

Under general supervision, the Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for general ledger (GL) system administration, account analyses and reconciliations in support of the financial close cycle, and regulatory compliance filings. Employees in this job class perform general accounting functions in the areas of general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, tax accounting, and internal and external audit support. This job class requires knowledge of basic accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) and the ability to use and apply independent judgment and thought to a variety of accounting and systems issues.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting of finance
CPA not required. Job position will work directly for a CPA. If applicant has passed or intends to take CPA exams, the CPA certificate can be signed off once appropriate experience is gained.
